Meet the Therapists
Elaine Croft
Elaine has worked in specialist Depression and Anxiety services in the NHS since 2007 providing CBT based therapies and in Mental Health since 2004. She completed her Postgraduate Training at the University of Derby one of the founding CBT training programmes in the UK and is a fully accredited member of the BABCP.
As well as providing 1:1 therapy sessions Elaine specialises in writing and delivering workshops and group therapy. In her previous NHS role she developed a series of Stress Management sessions that are now being delivered to around 3,000 NHS patients each year with excellent feedback. Elaine is currently developing a series of workshop programmes for Good Thinking that are now available for workplace bookings.

Elissa Taylor
Elissa has worked in public, private and voluntary healthcare since 2003 and has gained a myriad of experience working with adults presenting with a wide range of difficulties. In 2013 she qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at Oxford University and is a fully accredited member of the BABCP (British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapists).
Elissa has also undertaken additional training in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), she is a Mindfulness Teacher (MBCT), she uses additional techniques in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she is a Clinical Supervisor in CBT and also a fully trained Yoga Teacher!

Katie Snipe
Katie has worked in specialist Depression and Anxiety services in the NHS since 2012. She completed her CBT training at Nottingham University in 2015 and has held her accreditation with the BABCP since 2016.

Katie provides CBT sessions via Skype (online video chat), telephone or online conversational chat and can therefore take on clients from any location around the country.
Katie enjoys bringing creativity and a personalised approach to therapy sessions.
